Computers

  • Internet access

Faxes

  • The Library will can send and receive faxes. The charge is $1.00 per page except for toll-free or local numbers. We also provide free faxes to the Michigan Unemployment 1-517-636-0427 
  • The charge for faxes is $1.00 per page, except for toll-free numbers and local numbers, in which case there is no charge to send the fax.

Wireless Internet & Printing

  • Open access internet available anywhere in the Library.
  • Wireless black & white, duplex, and color printing available.

Printing & Copier Service

E-Books and Audiobooks

  • As a supplement to our physical collection, the Library has digital materials available for download. These materials are available via OverDrive. Click here to see the digital catalog.

  • OverDrive supports many devices, including MP3 players, Apple's products, Amazon's Kindles, and many more. You may also enjoy these materials from your laptop or personal computer.
  • A total of 5 eBooks and audiobooks may be checked out at one time, for up to 14 days. Materials automatically expire thus there are no late fees.

Technology Help

  • One on one computer classes are available on the basics of Windows computers, Microsoft Word, and using the internet
  • Advanced technology sessions are available to troubleshoot your technology woes.

 Research

  • We have a comprehensive list of genealogy resources available to search for you or with our assistance.
  • The Library offers a reference service that will find information for you.  From geography to business, travel information to biology, antiques to zoology, reference staff will research your question and forward the information to you. Stop in or call.

    Reserves and Interlibrary Loan

    If materials are not available we (or you!) may request it from another library, almost always free, and we can call or email you when it arrived. Additionally, the Library can place requests for you.

    1. Valcat: The Library is part of a cooperative of local libraries that most likely have the material you want. This takes about a week to come in. Click here to search the catalog.
    2. MeLCat: The statewide library system offers an extensive reach to find rarer books & academic materials.
    3. WorldCat: We are able to request books from anywhere in the United States and can virtually find any material. The Library must request items for you from this service.

    Meeting Rooms

    • The Library has a large community room and a small study room available to for use by non-profit groups or workshops.
    • These are not available for private parties.
