Computer Classes

What this is

The Library has a structured computer class and then advanced technology help sessions available to the public, free of charge.

In these Absolute Basics course, we cover the basics of computing technology, teach how to operate a Windows computer, overview Microsoft Word, and show some tips and tricks of using the internet. This course is meant to introduce or education those about the basics of using a Windows computer and basic file management--principles which can apply to any technology device.

Free resources are included with the course. Participants will practice hands-on and are given opportunity to ask questions.

Stop and see us to register or call today.

Have a technology program? The Library offers one-on-one Advanced Technology sessions to patrons.  We will arrange a time for you to receive help with your personal technology hurdle. Bring your device to the Library and receive help or use one of our public computers.

Due to a range of topics, sessions are scheduled at the Library's discretion: we may not be able to help with ever problem. Additionally, we may pose a time limit on how long we can focus on a single problem. A technology waiver must be signed before sessions may begin.

To see if we can help, stop and see us or contact Erin.
