The Library publishes a free quarterly newsletter. They are intended to inform our patrons of Library services while highlighting our past events. The newsletters are also a great way to preview all of our upcoming events!

Summer Reading Program

June 4, 2012 – Monday anytime from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Registration begins for the Caro Area District Library’s fun- filled free summer reading program for kids centering on the theme, “Dream Big: Read”. A schedule of all programs will be available

 upon registration. For more information visit the library at 840 W. Frank St., Caro from

9 - 8 on M-F. and 9 - 5 on Sat. or call 673-4329.

 

June 15, 2012 – Friday from  2:00 p.m.–2:45 p.m.

Summer Reading Program  Kick Off Celebration. All children are invited to “Joel’s Pajama Jam Comedy Show” presented by Joel Tacey. Children under 6 need to be accompanied by an adult.

 

June  22, 2012 – Friday from 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Summer Reading Program Game Day. Children earn tickets to use to buy prizes. Children under 6 need to be accompanied by an adult. If not already registered we will still accept registrations.

 

June 29, 2012 – Friday from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m.

Summer Reading Program Participants Celebration. Join us for “It’s book time with Ronald McDonald”. Children under 6 need to be accompanied by an adult.

 

July 6, 2012 – Friday from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. *NOTE EXTENDED TIME

Summer Reading Program Participants Celebration. All children are invited to a Movie and popcorn. Children under 6 need to be accompanied by an adult.

 

July 11, 2012 – Wednesday from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Summer Reading Program Participants Celebration. The final children’s reading program will be “Animals Around the World” presented by Dynamic West Assemblies, Inc. Children under 6 need to be accompanied by an adult. Summer Reading Program participants will receive their reading certificates.

 

Senior Movies

Free movies for seniors are shown every 4th Tuesday of the month at 1p.m. The Library serves refreshments after the movie. Click here for a detailed description and listing of our upcoming movies.
